Gotham knights logo3/2/2023 ![]() ![]() Jumping away from the large group to take out several enemies from a distance using the guns and then finishing the rest off with the heavy-hitting melee combat seems in theory to be a great strategy. While the Mystical Leap will be most useful while trying to get around the city, using it in combat could help create some distance for Red Hood, helping him with his fighting style. It seems to be the right mix of strength and speed to help him as he goes up against the biggest threats to Gotham City. ![]() However, with a single-player-focused game run, Red Hood’s combination of his gun and raw strength can allow him to control a battlefield, maintaining distance from the group and beating back any that get too close. This style of gameplay could classify Red Hood as the Tank of the group, withstanding more attacks and dealing more damage, all while drawing the attention of the enemy group so that the other members can take quickly pick off individuals. This melee is a stark contrast to the other members who focus more on speed and agility, bouncing around the battlefield to take out enemies, which was seen in Nightwing’s gameplay in the Gotham Knights trailer. His style is more heavy-hitting, almost closer to Bane than Batman, allowing him to not only deal more damage but also withstand heavier hits without being staggered or knocked down. While Red Hood’s combat will focus primarily on the use of his guns, he has also been trained in numerous martial arts that would help him fight in close quarters. When coupled with the teamwork-based gameplay, Red Hood can stun enemies and make them easier targets for the others to take them down or level the playing field by drawing the attention of numerous enemies. This allows him to control the battlefield a lot more and deal damage to multiple targets at once, equipping him to specialize in taking on multiple enemies at once. With the added range, Red Hood gains the ability to systematically target an opponent’s weak points in a barrage of shots or even detonate stun bombs that he has attached to an enemy. However, with how the gameplay has been portrayed in the trailers, the use of his guns blends well with the heavy-hitting melee fighting style he possesses. With Nightwing taking a more acrobatic approach, Batgirl having a melee combat style like Batman in the Arkham series, and Robin using his trusted bow staff, Red Hood’s guns may almost seem like a support style. The most recent live-action version of Harvey Dent appeared in the Fox series Gotham, where he was played by Nicholas D'Agosto. With all the different fighting styles that the Bat-Family have in their repertoire, Red Hood is the only one that primarily involves the use of non-lethal guns, giving him much more range than the three other members. However, he later becomes Two-Face after The Joker ( Heath Ledger) causes an explosion that scars his face and another that kills Dent's girlfriend Rachel Dawes ( Maggie Gyllenhaal). At the beginning of the film, Dent is working with Jim Gordon ( Gary Oldman) and Batman ( Christian Bale) to get rid of organized crime from Gotham City. In director Christopher Nolan's 2008 film The Dark Knight, Harvey Dent was played by Aaron Eckhart. In the film, Dent has been the villain Two-Face for two years and later teams up with The Riddler ( Jim Carrey). Tommy Lee Jones took over the role in director Joel Schumacher's 1995 film Batman Forever. Billy Dee Williams played Harvey in director Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film, who works with Commissioner Gordon ( Pat Hingle) and Mayor Borg ( Lee Wallace) to try to stop Carl Grissom ( Jack Palance) and later The Joker ( Jack Nicholson). Harvey Dent, as well as his supervillain alter ego Two-Face, has been adapted multiple times in live action. The series will also have Harvey Dent working on trying to uncover who murdered Batman/Bruce Wayne. ![]() He is also the one who reveals to Turner that his father was also Batman. In the series, Harvey is the one to tell Bruce Wayne's son Turner Hayes ( Oscar Morgan) that his father was murdered. In the photo, Dent is pointing to a logo of the GCPD that is hanging on a wall. The image shows Collins dressed as Harvey Dent at the Gotham City Police Department. Collins recently shared an image of his version of Dent ( via a retweet from series co-creator Natalie Abrams) from the upcoming series. DC Comics fans have a new look at Harvey Dent ( Misha Collins) in The CW's Gotham Knights. ![]()
